CD3: Keeping it Light

All the funds are in place (Thank You, Lord!!). The HSG is scheduled. The calendar is in pencil. And God is at work. He already knows how this cycle will turn out; I'm simply along for the ride.

Because I'm at the point of having zero control over the current cycle, I'm looking for something fun and even silly to keep my mind off things. So, I have a question for you!

What foods did consume either before, during, or after your first couple of treatments in order to increase your chances of conceiving?

So far, I've heard avocado, pears, and, of course, pineapple. What else?

  1. PINEAPPLE. And that's honestly about it - though, I only ate it for my last cycle... and it clearly didn't help. But if it had, I would have definitely attributed it to the pineapple :)

  2. This time I didn't do pineapple because it recently showed up as an allergy on a test I did. I did drink lots of grape juice after my IUI. I dot remember where I heard that one. Also I cut back a lot on wheat leading up to my IUI to reduce any lingering inflammation. Best of luck to you!
